The Rep 5G was HBot, this one looks like the same thing but with beefier structure.
HBot still sucks, I’m baffled why they don’t switch to CoreXY.

I agree with @Ryan_Carlyle , H-bot is not a good choice, especially when corexy is easy and functional.
Weird… But not surprised by Makerbot. It sounds like asking that microsoft makes an OS for a smartphone. They tried hard, many times, but they just proved to be plain incapable of doing it right.
Always thought a professional makerbot is a stratasys. Who was saying stratasys wont make a consumer grade machine because they have makerbot.
