Been doing a little more work on the delta build. I wanted to keep the build cost effective and am going with 2020 extrusion, but now am concerned about flex/rigidity in the vertical structure. The whole printer will be ~800mm tall. I was thinking of either adding two more verticals on the back two sides, or enclosing those sides with acrylic/polycarbonate. Which option would you all recommend in terms of strength?

+Peter van der Walt after you mentioning that and @Javier_Prieto saying the same I think I’ll go with 20mm. Didn’t know the flex difference would be as significant as it really is

1515 is not even remotely stiff enough for 800mm verticals, in fact even 2020 is arguably pushing it depending on how rigid your joints are.

@Ryan_Carlyle ended up returning the wheels. I’ll go with 2020 and still brace it.
