Best printer for a “Printer Farm”?

I’ve got two Taz 4’s under heavy use, and while their large build volume is great, most prints don’t need all that space.

I’m thinking of getting multiple small printers, to have a pool of identical machines that prints can be distributed across. (Multiple users, student prints etc)

They don’t need large footprint, but do need to be fairly relaible, compact, and handle at least PLA and ABS.

I have a Malyan M200 and it’s been good so far, but I wouldn’t say it’s under heavy use.

I have a Monoprice Select Mini, and a Kossel Delta. The Kossel is a bit faster, and bigger…but the Monoprice is so easy to use. And cheap.

If you trust more than 10k reviews of users like you, look at Prosumer category: https://www.3dhubs.com/best-3d-printer-guide

If your printing farm is commercially oriented, try Ultimakers 3 with CuraConnect print management software. Very reliable machines.

The mini select is great, but be sure to reroute the heated bed wires. They will get cut eventually the way they are run in a stock machine.
