Bld3r.com (pronounced /ˈbildər/ “builder”) is something my friend and I have been working on for a while. It’s a 3D printing social network where you can share your 3D objects. Also, our idea was to make a site that made it easier to “get into” 3D printing and reduce the learning curve. That’s why we added a tutorials and wiki section. We want it to be simple and independent. We’re making updates all the time. It’s in beta, so please don’t hate it if it’s too ugly or crashes.

It’s a good start, nobody is perfect my friend. If you looked how Google or Yahoo built their first website you’ll understand that your site is much much better. Good Luck 8)

Personally I’m not a fan of the multiple column layout, but I know many people are fine with it.

Thanks for the input! The site is built on Google App Engine! We’re aiming to make the site as visual as Pintrest, as democratic as Reddit, and as amazingly functional as Stackoverflow. Please let us know how else we can make it better for the community!
