BMP, JPG, PNG? Just curious what you guys prefer and why for your raster needs.

Mostly PNG and BMP… Too much contrast loss with JPG in my experience. I usually run JPGs through a few filters to improve contrast before using it for rasterizing…
We don’t have a specific preference and would happily use any of those formats.
Any image generally needs some processing to achieve the best engraving results so any jpeg losses are usually not an issue.
With respect to our customers, most prefer to work with jpeg.
Doesn’t really matter to me. JPG, when saved in Highest quality seems just as good as BMP or PNG.
