Boy, I am dying to get my hands on two BBB starter kits from Adafruit and they seem permanently out of stock… These things must be flying off the shelves…

They and a couple other vendors have email notifications. I ordered as soon as I was notified From Adafruit and Element14 and they were still in stock. WOuldn’t you love to be a manufacturer in this position?

Would now be a bad time to tell everyone that I’ve had my BBB for a few weeks and only powered it on for a few seconds?

Mouser is supposed to get about 11,000 more of them in about two weeks. I bought mine on back order and it shipped about 5 days before it was predicted, so that’s something to consider.

I put myself on Adafruit’s stock notification to get a board; ordered as soon as I got the email and I think they were gone by the end of the day. You may want to pass on the kit though, seems like everything BBB is always out of stock so it may take a major planetary alignment before those ship.

Yup… I just bailed on the kits and bought the individual components from Adafruit and Newark - each bit from whichever had it…
