So if you break a layer (including perimeters) often enough you can limit the tension to a point where it will no longer lift the print off the bed but also sacrifice your surface quality. Breaking the layers should be possible to do with just hairline cracks every three centimeters with carefully placed brickwork-like pattern of small holes right through the object. To the mechanical engineers out there: how bad would that be for strength? No worse than honeycomb infill?
