Broke the Delrin clip on my Ultimaker somehow so I snagged a 1/4" E-clip from the hardware store and I’m back in business running test prints. It looks like it will work however I am still concerned about the 1mm of slack left by the reduced thickness of the E-clip…

is there enough room for another e-clip?

Always an option for sure.

So far after 2hrs of printing there is no wood scoring or issue I can see with the free play…

Print a new one. There may already be an STL file out there somewhere

Ryan, could you tell me if it is still working fine with e-clip, or not?
I had broken mine while I was assembling ultimaker for the first time:(

You know, it has been working great! I am still only using a single 1/4" Eclip and there is no grinding issues at all.

Oh, and by the way, Ultimaking sent me a replacement Delrin clip at no charge! They have been very cool to work with!
