@Brook_Drumm Is there a firmware compatible with the let’s call it “all wood” @Printrbot Simple (shipping in 12/2013) that would support print bed auto-level ?
@Andre_Courchesne1 , have you checked the printrbottalk forum? There are a few threads on there regarding leveling and the Simple. I’ve scanned through them a while back but haven’t tried this yet, but I believe there was some discussion on there regarding the firmware.
Yeah saw some posts but I was a bit confused about discussion about other printer models, stock merlin firmware vs +Printrbot ,… Just don’t want to brick my controller board…
We have three working versions for the printrboard: a simple manual switch on a removable mount, a servo that swings up and down (needs external power), and a non-contact drop in replacement for a front mounted z axis switch drop in replacement (permanent mount).
@Brook_Drumm That’s great, are there any documentation and/or where can we get those firmware ?
