Calendar.
Looking for a calendar for my Windows 8.1 PC the most important part of this calendar is once launched it remains on the screen at all times. It will allow the setting of appointments and possibly flash when an event is coming due.
I have other calendars but they rely on emails to notify me when something is coming due and must be opened to interact with them.
The most important requirement; the calendar is always on my desktop while displaying my events showing upcoming events with some sort of active event allowing the viewer easily be alerted to that fact.
Only Google Calendar integrated with Google Inbox and allowed notifications in Chrome for both https://calendar.google.com and https://inbox.google.com
@Dmitri_Nesterov currently using Google Calendar but need something more visual on my desktop. I guess the best example would be when you change the wallpaper on your desktop but instead of a picture an active calendar-like-app which would launch at boot and always be available.
@Rud_Dog let’s try to find the way to stick Google Calendar to desctop… What OS? I afraid that it would be very OS-dependent.
@Rud_Dog , viola! https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/always-on-top/amclpcgcmdkdaichklckjepcjjdcmcii?hl=en

@Rud_Dog answered earlier. AOT is a solution.
In what way is this post related to ESP8266?
@Stephen_Warren really! Thanks! And I wondered why I don’t get pluses for a perfect step by step solution! Now everything is clear. Take him away! I removed my pluses.
My apologies for posting in the wrong community sometimes it is hard to fantom the knowledge hole being dealt with and its sensitivity to being addressed strictly in the subject manner at hand. Will post my questions in the appropriate community.
