I decided to upgrade my Atom 2.0 with the smoothieboard after Atom refused to warranty out the defective board I had. I watched and followed to the T the Thomas Sanladerer upgrade video on Youtube which takes the smoothieboard and puts it in the Atom 2.0. I set up all the wiring exactly as he did, and can get everything to work minus the G30 and G32 codes. If I run a G28 to home and call out the M114 to check out the zero parameters the x, y, and z all show a position of 0. Then if I run a G30 states it traveled 719 mm and then I run the M114 again to see if it shows 0 for the home position and it says its now at 360 mm. If I try and run a G32 it will run the calibration cycle but never seems to take because I can call different Z positions using the G30Z… and it never goes where I call it out to move to.
