Came across this on amazon. Didn’t even know Hatchbox has 3D doodling pen… Anyone tried it yet? I’m getting this for my daughter Christmas present :slight_smile:

Honestly, 3D pens are a gimmick. Not worth it. Even if you got one for free.

@Step_Cia ​ I have a 3doodler, I like it, but its not the most useful thing, unless as per its name all you want to do is doodle. Works well for welding broken 3d prints together though.

@Alexander_Pritchard My 3doodler has more than paid for itself in repairing prints that I sell and not having to reprint them. I use it a lot for filling in gaps of thin walls where it didn’t quite fill in like lettering and small details. It’s also nice for filling in gaps when I have layer separation if the part is going to be sanded and painted. It was purchased for my kids but after about a week they all got bored with it.

Got it. Gimmicky as it is, it actually pretty fun to play with :slight_smile:
