Can anyone figure this out?

I own an Original Prusa i3 Mk2 purchased in January. Ever since updating my firmware recently, to the 3.1.0_fw, I think, the calibration procedures are not working. It does not go through calibrate Z, I see no calibrate XYZ, during the printing of CalibrationV2.gcode the nozzle touches the bed and while trying to print the carriage gets half way across the print bed and stops like it has been jammed. I no longer have calibrate XYZ, the calibrate Z no longer goes to the top of the printer to get set and does not go through checking the different probing areas on the bed.

Do you have a calibration menu under the settings menu?

Not after the update

Have you tried reflashing the board?

Yes, I just did

Do you mind providing the filename for the .hex you used? Just want to make sure you didn’t use one meant for the old MK1 electronics.

No, I used E3DFull.hex, the latest

I think I’ve got it figured out. I think it was updating to the old firmware.

Now I’ve got to figure out how to adjust this with the replaced endstop.

Thanks Adam,

You kind of helped steer me in the right direction so I could figure out the firmware issue. Do you know how I can get an end stop that is identical to the Prusa i3 original? The replacement I have triggers too early, messing up the Calibration

Never mind. I just figured out how to fix that too. Thanks

Happy I could help

Turns out, when you remove the rocker arm on the replacement end stop, it is exactly the same size as the original Prusa end stops sent with the Printer

Well it’s a standard size and the Prusa ones don’t use a rocker so it makes sense.

Yes
