Can anyone point me in the direction of some decent PLA/ABS/PETG manufacturers that aren’t top tier but also not bottom rung. AMAZON Prime would be preferable budget will be 20-30$ per 1KG roll USD. thank-you in advance. So far I have had decent results with Hatchbox PLA and ESun PETG was just wondering if there were better solutions that fall in the budget I have listed

I use http://www.makergeeks.com/

Esun regular pla. I still have some left from when I imported the from China a couple of years ago

30 bucks gets you into Atomic Filaments territory. I’ve heard good things.

I really liked the Taulman Tech-G (PETG). It’s clear, so if you don’t mind the color it’s really strong and nice. I think it was about $30/kg. :slight_smile:

I’ve had good results with AMZ3D. It is slightly brittle, but works well. Looks like it is out of stock in Amazon right now though.

@Dushyant_Ahuja I have 2 rolls I picked up of amz3d for 16$ and have had reasonable results with it as well

I like the PETG from mgchemicals. Sainsmart’s seems decent too, but I haven’t used as much of it.

There are really only two sources of PLA I use: Esun (available from tons of white-label sellers) and Hatchbox. Hatchbox has great translucent colors, and Esun prints more reliably than anything else.

Also, there are some good reviews here: http://thrinter.com/filaments/

@Alex_Krause which part of the world are you from? Probably helpful when recommending manufacturers.

@Thomas_Sanladerer  USA

BAMTack! which sells on Amazon for approx $22 USD works really well, the matte gray is awesome for printing busts as it seems to really show off the detail.
