Can anyone tell me why the trace to vector offsets like this?

Can anyone tell me why the trace to vector offsets like this?

Because it’s removing the background, maybe do the image as png

Thanks @Ariel_Yahni_UniKpty . That means start with a png?

@Chuck_Comito yeah, get that image as a PNG with no background that way http://you.get the corner into the 0,0 mark as the trace. Or just move the trace. The best option is to do all that in inskcape or AI. Let me know

@Ariel_Yahni_UniKpty , thanks so much for the advice. Looks like I’m up and running. I’ll post the image when it’s done. I did the conversion to png, set contrast, etc in gimp then changed my speeds as you guys suggested. I was able to run both the raster and vector in one job. I still have “lines” though. Like I can see each individual laser pass. Is there a way to adjust the resolution for better overlapping of passes?

In setting there is an option for laser diameter. Look at that value, the higher the more gap http://you.will see between lines

I thought I saw that somewhere once before but in this new config file I don’t see it. I’ll look again.

Oh nevermind. You said in settings… laserweb… not the config. I knew I saw it before.
