Can Chilipeppr run on a Raspberry Pi 3? Not just SPJS, but the browser app, too? I’d like to move away from a beefy PC as the host, if possible.
Chilipeppr runs in browser. The typical browsers on the Pi are limited so do not run WebGL and such. Without these you cannot run Chilipeppr.
Firefox and Chrome have these but installing them is a pain or they simply run SLOW. So it becomes very frustrating very quickly. It is possible however.
I have a crap PC that i use instead because even though it is awful it is still far more powerful than a Pi and run Chilipeppr fine.
We use stick PC runs full windows can find for less then $100 runs silent small, has wifi. We connected to old TV

Today I got both the serial port json server and chilipeppr working on a pi3, booting right to fullscreen chrome (no window manager). It seems to be fully functional, there is an occasional flickering to black on the background, but it doesn’t seem to impact things.
