Hello,
I have an old GE fanuc cnc controller with Fanuc servo motors with (driver boards) I would like to run it with a a smoothie board as the original controler is dead and is pretty prehistoric.Has anyone done this ore understand the circutry enough to figure out a way to do it.

Are you convinced that those drivers are accepting Step and dir signals ?
I saw some posts that those needs 0-10v input…
Hi,
Maybe you can change the parameters of the drives to accept pulses instead of an analog signal.
I know that it is definitely possible for Omron Accurax G5 and Yaskawa Sigma II drives but i don’t know you Fanuc drives.
