Can I up the output voltage on my ATX power supply for my PrintrBot Simple Metal? Is it possible to output too much? Currently, my heat bed takes a while to heat up.
The standard heated bed? It only takes me a minute or two.
To get to what temperature? It takes a good 8 minutes to reach 100C from room temp
Yeah 100 is pretty hot to run the bedon the Simple Metal, it has a max temp of ~110C. You should be able to get ABS to stick fine at 90C
@Adam_Steinmark Okay, I’ll try that. Though most people have their heat beds anywhere between 100C and 120C.
@Jakob_Linz Are you using the PrintrBot Simple, though?
So basically it seems like it’s not worth it to just save several minutes.
