Can somebody tell me why this keeps happening on my maker bot 5th gen?

That’s stringing, you either need to decrease the hot end temperature or increase the retraction on move.

Can be a couple of things. Frist, I’d lower the temp 5 degrees and test. You should print as cool as you can, but still have good layer adhesion. Second, take a look at your retraction settings…

@Stephen_Baird the temp is 215 oC and can’t seem to find that speed in make bot software.

I don’t have any experience with makerbot’s software so I couldn’t tell you where that setting would be, but given what I know of makerbot’s evolution I wouldn’t be surprised if that setting doesn’t exist. If it is there, it would be in the slicing settings somewhere.

I’d try Keith’s suggestion of dropping the temperature about 5c and seeing if that changes anything too.

Ah OK I found the retraction it’s under extruder, so increase the speed?

I’ve run with low retraction distance plenty of times. Try lowering the temp.

All the above and also your nozzle may be worn out and the hole is bigger now and started oozing more. Try a smaller hole
