Can someone explain what the LW4 workspace heading does?

Can someone explain what the LW4 workspace heading does? I know it saves something but what? Also is there any way to configure a default cut speed? Thats the one thing I keep forgetting when I’m focusing on other things, we all know how little fun it is to go to the laser and watch it do nothing

The workspace heading saves and loads the entire set of documents and operations. Defaults: see http://cncpro.co/index.php/60-documentation/operations-generate-gcode/material-database/22-material-database-operation-presets

So you can import a document, set all operations, and then save it as a workspace…
Next time you need to access the same item, load the workspace and get going… Or do the work on your laptop, save the workspace, go to your laser, load the workspace on that machine, and start cutting…

Well thats handy has hell…I just did a repeat job today although I finally got smart and copied the entity using displacement(Draftsight) so instead of 4 executes I then did one to get 4 pieces. Thanks guys, looks like LW4 is well on its way to being a productive tool.

I already knew that, but strangely keep forgetting to use the feature. I think it could also be handy for debug purposes as well?
