Can someone help me figure out why I cant get the 3rd state to function in this code? pin 9 wont change state

I dont know, i cant get that part of the code to respond no matter what actual code i put in the state, somehow the state is being ignored for that pin

strange, have you tried change the pin? not working at all? probably bad pin output but the code seems fine to me

i tried pin 9 first but had no luck as well, will try a different pin again and report back

As far as i can tell its just hardware failure, ive had problems with it before
