The original prusa is about $700 and it is very nice.
The geetech is about $400 and is a rip off of the original i3
Anet A8 has been a popular and cheap option. Sub $200 shipped to my door
The Monoprice mini v2 should be released next week for $200, their i3 clones are $300-400 and essentially are rebranded Wanhao printers.
Reddit’s 3D Printing section has a nice buying guide section every month posted to the first page.
I’m currently building a prusa clone. And I like the way it is designed very much.

@Griffin_Paquette I was looking for something a little larger than my printrbot simple metal. The a8 doesn’t look bad.
Yeah his quality is actually quite impressive from it. It’s his firs tprinter and he had it printing quite well within 24hrs. Didn’t even ask me for help @Thomas_Cox
