Flex filament isn’t so much about the hot end but the extruder drive and assembly. You want a smooth, gap free path between the hobb and the hot end. In particular, between the hobb and the path to the hot end.

Anyone out there printing successfully on a printrbot using flex filament?

Me! Printed it with excellent results when I had the Play. Their plastic extruder made all the difference.
