That’s freekin amazing! How about a fleet of robots picking up drops of plastic pixels and gluing them in place as a printing solution? Depending on the available pixels, you could print in color…

the application and combinations are near infinite. in construction we have heavy equipment working alongside humans and some of those humans are using precision instruments. Ok so print out little microbots and the micros work alongside macros, some use tools while others do the heavy lifting. They have sensors that allow them to detect each other.
this is really wow. imagine they make a huge base membrane of the master object to construct and have millions of them build a space station from a bucket of parts in space. now when the station is damaged, it will re-activate and fix the damages … LOL truly japanese anime science fiction come true
