Can you blow a glass bead thermistor like the epcos 100k so that it no longer shows any connection? (feeling kind of cursed with my 3D printer)
Oh come on? She wants it! Lol. I bought a hand full of tube thermisters? No idea how to use them? 100k? Do I just break out the drill?
I think the tube thermistors are for the heater blocks that have two cartridge sized clamping holes in the heater block. I can not use those myself.
@NathanielStenzel their not carriage sized, just a mm over an e3d, glass thermister, but 3/8s of an inch long.
Cleaning the thread now. I like my threads tidier than my house.
I made a similar comment about the stainless slides in my brake pad bracket when I was doing my rear brakes last weekend, except I compared them to a public restroom.
@DayRider76 Are they threaded? Some are meant to go into a threaded hole.
Well, it must be the glass bead because the board is fine. I tested by plugging in the other thermistor.
