Case printed ok. Fan works perfectly (5V 40mm noctua). Has 48 deg celcius instead of 82 now ^^
(this pi is doin boinc calculations)

Vibrations and noice from the fan?

@Daniel_Soderlund_Var almost no noise. No vibration

@VolksTrieb Cool, don’t have a 3rd printer yet. You don’t mind sharing the source file ?

Where did you get the STL file from? Thanks

We’ll find ET…eventually! How well does it perform in BOINC?

Looks good! Link to boinc page? :wink:

@Daniel_Soderlund_Var @LOC_DOWN Vaders Pi Case Assortment - Raspberry Pi B+/2/3 found on #Thingiverse Vaders Pi Case Assortment - Raspberry Pi B+/2/3 by Lord_Vader - Thingiverse

@Morten_Forster well boinc ^^ google seti@home or just boinc ^^

@Mike_Miller raspberry pi 3 very nice. Going to set up a B+ just for fun comparison ^^

That case is way too big!

@Scottie_D369 why? Please take in account that at the bottom there is a stacker attached. So its like 15mm shorter in reality :wink:

Edit: i also made the top half higher because of a tall heatsink under the fan. The fan itself is 10.5mm! There are smaller versions in my collection :wink:

@VolksTrieb thx

@LOC_DOWN no problemo :wink:

@VolksTrieb sorry i was being vague there, i meant the link to your “stats page” on the BOINC website, to see how well the PI performed.

@Morten_Forster
The first Big bars in April was my relatively new PC. So for the Wattage its perfect :wink:

Is it over clocked? Did it have issues with stability before the fan?

@Mike_Miller nope not overclocked. No stability issue either. But it clocks down and a yellow rectangle shows up. Better glue on a heatsink and fan it down :wink:
