Hello Smoothie People,
I am trying to configure correctly my end-stops for my Y motor (M2 on the board “Beta” stepper motor). Using Printrun, in the Printrun window there is a home icon on Y motor. I click the home icon and the arm goes to Y min, hits the endstop and comes back a few steps and stops there (good, its working). What I would like it to do is bounce between both end-stops (min-max) and then rest in the middle between them. So I want my home to be equally divided between the two end-stops. Possible?
Also, when the arm hits the Y min during a print or when I manually move it using Printrun window, it will go dead and not work until I enter M999 (good, its working) However when it hit the other endstop (Y Max) it just clicks and clicks and I am not sure it knows to stop there (no prompt from Printrun to enter M999 either).
G28 = it goes to Y min, hits and stops (a few steps back, good I think its working)
M119 =
<<<BLOCKQUOTE: <<<BLOCKQUOTE:
m119
>>>>>>
SENDING:M119
min_x:1 min_y:0 min_z:1 max_x:1 max_y:0 max_z:1
With my finger on the max Y endstop to test:
<<<BLOCKQUOTE: <<<BLOCKQUOTE:
m119
>>>>>>
SENDING:M119
min_x:1 min_y:0 min_z:1 max_x:1 max_y:1 max_z:1
I think this means Y max endstop is wired correctly.
Thank You for your input
