I thought I’d take advantage of the cold wet weather here in the UK and give my K40 a spring clean. I’ve run bleach through the water cooling lines and flushed well. Changed my coolant (distilled water). Cleaned all the optics. Vacuumed out under the honeycomb bed. As I cut a lot of 3mm ply and some hardboard I thought I’d give the inside a good clean. I usually use white vinegar, but have found something better and just as cheap. In the UK we have something called "Elbow Grease " which I thought was a prank product. It’s not, it’s a great degreaser bought from cheap shop for around £1. It works really well. Just thought I’d share a top tip.
