Cold is just as good as hot vapor smoothing, just takes a bit longer.

@Brigham_Valdez so you’re applying acetone directly to your projects? Is the spray fine enough to provide a smooth surface? I’m curious because i’ve done the brush on of acetone, as well as acetone dip of projects, just seems those methods are but TOO agressive and you can easily over do it and melt your project and fine details. The high end shops tend to use vapor because its macroscopically fine and will give your the greatest detail and smoothest finish. when I did hot vapor coupled with my project in freezer for a bit, its was a matter of minutes for a similar to effect to the one I achieved with the 2 hr cold vapor, only downside is i could have started a fire or exploded something
