A coworker of mine told me that I’ve exchanged 3D printing for my sexlife!
My girlfriend actually asked me to fix my printer so she could also use it. 
I’ve opened up my makerbot, and half this stuff ain’t in it. The heck is all that?
I have to ask permission if I want to spend an evening alone with Samantha (the name of my SmartRap)…my wife usually obliges, but she also gets a night out with her girlfriends in exchange.
One does not simply fix only two wires. :-)
@Joseph_Larson lots of hacks and homemade addons, the original printer is certainly not that messy
E.g. embedded main powersupply, SSR suicide mode, dual secondary power supplies (5V & 12V) for more hacks, like a secondary arduino with an Oled screen and a rotary encoder…

@Nick_Benik_HackerCEO and did you really explain the damn hairy reason why it took longer at 3am? 
Usually I try to wait till the next morning at least even though she asks (and then it becomes much harder to explain why it really took that long!)
