Completed my inaugural set of spoil boards.
I decided to make the base spoil board as two edge lapped halves that are easily removed so later I can remove one or both halves and setup thicker objects that hang below the table.
Then an additional portable board for smaller flat work that I can rotate the T-slots 90 degrees if needed.
I am sure that as I learn more this design will change :)!
I found that pre-installing “drop-in” nuts on the screws that are in the base boards made assembly to the frame pretty easy. Install the screws and nuts in the board, lay the board on the frame, rotate the screws until the nuts fall in the channel and tighten.
