Config File being Overwritten on Reboot

Controlling the smoothie through a Raspberry Pi and Octoprint, when I edit the config file using nano and save it, the saves are there if I do a cat but when I reboot the smoothie the config file reverts back to what it was before I edited.

I thought it may have been the MicroSD so I put in a new one but same deal.

Anyone have any ideas?

Does it do the same thing if you don’t use a raspi ?

Yes you need to unmount the sdcard before you reset smoothie to flush the changes. sync would work too followed by unmount.
