Could not resist going a bit smaller in the micro hand front on my new UM² (my last post was 7% scale, this is now 5%). Literally half the size of my old 10% scaled micro ‘OK hand’ giveaways.

Maybe this size is a bit small as a giveaway item for the public though as they are rather easy to fumble and drop. Either that or I’m just clumsy.

Amazing detail.
How do they do that? Is it a special tiny tip? Do they use optical positioning?

Pretty impressive detail for that size

@Dwayne Knight it is the standard 0.4mm tip

@Christopher Benjamins 100 microns

Wow!

interesting!!

100 microns???

What’s with the big, chunky layers?

What can I say Dave, I’m slipping :slight_smile: It was just so that I didn’t have to wait long between prints. I’ll do myself a high quality print at a later date. It does make me cringe a bit.

Doesn’t the extruder steps get “chunky” at some point as you get thinner? For small prints like this, you may be starting to butt up against the extrusion quanta?

Fair play to you looks class
