Couple of Android mascots I printed out if you can’t tell I’m kind of an android fan boy. Oh and by the way These aren’t the 3D printed droids your looking for

Some one needs to 3d print an awsome looking iPhone iPod case with different parts that go over eachother to give color

@Dorian_Lust yeah the arms are separated from the the body there’s a hole in the arm and body that I used a small piece of 3mm filament to connect them with also the head and body have to square holes that connect with a round peg so it can spin. So they are posable but I had to wrap a small piece of paper around the filament to get a tight enough fit for the arms to stay in place. @Jan_Svatos They are hollow to so there’s lots you could use it for I have a video somewhere of one I put a color changing LED in it looked pretty cool I’ll post it if I can find it. If you search http://thingiverse.com for Android mascot you’ll find quit a few diffrent models.

@Cole_Lanning yeah that would be cool but that person won’t be me I don’t group people by the phone they carry. I just can’t seem to let myself be associated with anything apple does. It’s like I said I’m kind of an android/Google fanboy and leave it at that. I am however interested in making some phone cases for some android phones I read something about there being a new flexible plastic that I think @MakerBot1 is selling but I’m not sure anyway I think if it was flexible it would offer some impact pertection and shock absorption to the phone you might not get out of the harder ABS plastic I normally use. I’ll update my facts about that plastic if I’m wrong I’ve been busy and haven’t had the time to keep up with everything like I’d like to

Yes it is makerbot that sells the flexible filament but at $130 a kilogram I don’t think I’ll be experimenting with it any time soon. If anyone finds it cheaper anywhere else let me know. http://store.makerbot.com/flexible-filament.html

i don’t know if they do or not but i’ve seen 3D printed phone cases before so I’m sure the information is out there somewhere
