Couple of years back when i first started building light up outfits people told me I was crazzyyy… and other ones told me to get this battery pack as for the cost and specs it was beefy. Well the battery seems to have gone the way of the unicorn and no longer exists. What batteries do you guys use now? Here are the primo specs:

-4 USB ports
-2 amps per port (all 4!)
-15,600mAh
-Cheapish, around $40 each

I am quite disappointed in the power ratings of all the USB batteries currently out there. (the default seems to be 3.2A shared by two USB ports)

Currently, I am using 3S LiPo batteries and a 15A UBEC to power my (portable) LED projects.

I would also be very interested in a easier solution like the battery pack you described.

There has been some chat about this recently, maybe a month or two ago—someone else had had success with a different brand, tying both 2.4A outputs together in parallel. I don’t remember which though, sorry.

Limefuel have some more models, but also look at Anker.

Anker Powercore 20100 are great. 2 ports at 2.4 each. I have safely connected both ports together on the same pack without issues and 30+ hours of usage so far.
