Did you uncover the nature of the molded plastic ?
For a moment it looked like it also got inside the electronics housing which would be triple crap! It would be bad enough to wake up to that in PLA, let alone PETG
I managed to get it to heat up before the wire broke off. This is the chunk i was able to get off of it. Gonna have a blast cleaning up the rest lol

@Cristian_Martinez don’t know if it is possible , but perhaps a heater gun under a certain temperature can help a bit ?
Already used it but thanx for the tip 
i used the heat gun at 200C
