Cut my first piece of aluminum with my ShapeOko and ChiliPeppr. Unfortunately half of 13 is not 7.5 so I need to recut. CP is the best interface to GRBL bar none!
What kind of spindle and cutter? What where your spindle speed, cut rate, and cutting depth? What kind of lubrication?
Inventables 300W spindle at 48V. ⅛" end mill (from inventables). WD-40 as lubricant when needed. Hand-rolled G-code. I was taking 0.1mm depth cuts. Feed rate was unknown but I’m guessing 10mm/min.
