Cutting DIN 5 connector holes in a Hammond 1550M enclosure for a +Synthetos tinyg (V.6, this enclosure won’t work for the later boards!) with a #Sherline. The observant may notice that I bottomed out my Y axis and forced the spiral milling operation to drift North by a mm or so. This is why we measure twice and cut once boys and girls!
@Simon_Day Still can’t run long scripts on the TinyG/Sherline due to EMI troubles, but hoping this enclosure will help with that.
Aluminium? What kind a router bit do you use? Looks like it cuts wery well.
It’s a two flute carbide end mill.
