3.1 is still best for large LED projects, especially for fast animation.

I’ve got the tech docs, and should be able to get the gpio, spi hardware, and timing stuff flipped over in the next few days.

It was super secret until just recently. Teensy-LC was announced on the PJRC forum about a week ago, and announced more publicly only yesterday. Word is just now starting to get out.
