Day 1, if I didn't have too sleep eat and work I'd be done

Day 1, if I didn’t have too sleep eat and work I’d be done already. #3dprinting #makibox #makible complaints of the day. M4 screws are TOOOOOO SHORT!!! Been posted In the forum and I know that it probably won’t make much difference since we are screwing into plastic any ways, but damn it would the customer feel better. One of the tabs on the acrylic appears to be out of place I’ll have to file it for day 2. Lastly but most importantly, there where no instructions in the box. Minor inconvience but I was looking forward to that piece of @Makible swag. Interesting build so far…

Nice

How well did the injection molded parts fit on your #Makibox ?

friend how long it took to get your printer #Makibox ?
My initial order was 391 and so far have not received

Is it an LT or an HT?

Steel bed => HT

Ht, parts are a very snug fit. The acrylic top panel needs to be filled in one place so far.

@Fabio_Miranda it took a while. It depends on your original position, shipping method and destination I believe.

@Marcus_Wolschon I needed some moderate force for the bottom tabs to mate right

Sounds like the second production batch.
Mine wouldn’t fit at all without a lot of sanding and filing.

i found that the snugness added to the the stability of the whole thing. which made me feel better since the screws didn’t really seem to do any thing. (too short, screwed into plastic.) i think i just missed out on the new D8 board too.

@Marcus_Wolschon Oh, okay. Thanks!

Have some problems on my own with the #makibox . Right now my hotend is broken… we’ll see whats happening next :wink:

:frowning:

Im thinking about looking into a backup hotend with all the horror stories I keep hearing. I wonder how much @Makible sells em for
