I posted about this earlier but 9/16 went flying by and forgot about it. So anyone here try it yet?

It doesn’t allow STL editing… Uninstalled.

@Renat_Z meaning you can import .stl’s but not modify them?

DesignSpark is a CAD software. In CAD, STL is exclusively an output format. When exporting to STL, you degrade your model. That’s what I call garbage out. You don’t take the garbage back in.

For design from scratch, I’m sure DesignSpark is far superior to Sketchup, because it produces real CAD models, while Sketchup is really a mesh modeler. Like STL is a polygon mesh format.
