Did a little modification to my Kraken heater blocks today.
If you haven’t already, be sure to cut a relief slot for the wires under the washer so they don’t get crushed.

@Mark_Fuller that’s not needed: the heat resistant mesh protects the very thin thermistor cables. @Sonex128 has adapted the Kraken blocks to use the same thermistor securing method as the E3d V6.

As @Tim_Rastall said, no need for slots - the glass fibre sleeving is very cushioning and also provides a good deal of grip.
I used to think so too, but then found intermittent shorts to ground through the washer on equipment. Also had a couple of fine wires open after being crushed by fiberglass insulation.
Now that I work at a major aerospace firm that shall remain unnamed, I tend to over-engineer my personal projects. YMMV
