Experiences? Recommended settings?

I am still waiting for mine. I plan to test it as much as possible but as it is limited to 10m in length it would be nice to get a good start by learning from your experiences.

Nope ! Not in Canada yet …

Hmm, I never even heard of them till right now. I must go look.

Got some directly from them at Fabcon 2014 about two months ago (first time they gave some samples). Too bad it’s only 1.75mm and I only have 3mm extruders here…

I am still waiting. @igus_Inc

I got mine on Thursday. Need to get a 1.75mm hotend…

I got some but can’t print it since it’s 1.75mm and my ultimaker need 3mm

pre-orders are being fulfilled as quickly as we can. As soon as each shipment of filament samples arrive they turn around and ship back out again!! We sincerely apologize for the delay on these! We did NOT expect such a rush to get the filament, Thank you all for your interest in our exciting new product!!

I’ll stop holding my breath so I don’t turn blue
“the expected delivery of your sample will take place at the end of April”

@korpx they did not tell the year? BTW @Shauki how does it print really (easy, fine, no warp?)? I expect it to be useful only for special geometries (such as sliders, pads that include the mounting screws). Printing bearings with it is probably not really worth, except for the “art” of reducing vitamins… I still need to mount a 1.75mm hot end just to try mine, but I do not see many use cases.

@Shauki -not me, I have some already- My question was more like: so you did find no obvious use for your printers either?

I want to print with it but I don’t want to waste it. lol

I have some new projects coming up.

Anyone that has not received your sample kit please email me!! [social@igus.com] I will send them personally.

I’m so sorry that you still haven’t gotten them!

@Jeremie_Francois haha no, no year specified. My bad I guess.

Anyway once I sent off an email asking for status things happened fast. Igus contacted the Swedish office who then sent the samples. They called me yeasterday to confirm the address and now it has just landed at the local post office.
