Didn't get much done tonight.

Didn’t get much done tonight. Kinda like taking one step forward and two steps back. I ended up cutting the three supports at the original length like in the plans, while totally forgetting to accommodate the 3d printed spacer and pockets. Sigh*

However upon assembly, having the three supports sit in the pocket creates a super sturdy assembly. Much better than what it used to be. Very happy about that.

I’ve been having trouble with drilling the side holes accurately and don’t have transfer punches. I have no idea how the idea came to mind but I’m sure I’m not the first to think to sand down the 1/4" screw to a point… So that works a little better.

Looking good!

Recently while making some corner brackets I drilled 1/8" pilot holes through wood, and just pipped the metal brackets, to mark them. Then I finished drilling up to final size in wood, and drilled the metal brackets out on my press. Holes lined up great. I even have transfer punches. The number, letter, and fractional sets.
