Disconnect USB 5v from main 5v

Hello, I am driving a servo that needs a decent amount of current so I’ve installed a 2.5A 5V regulator but it seems that whenever USB is connected, VUSB is used rather than 5VREG. This mean that my servo is overloading the USB and my computer is disconnecting for obvious reasons. Is there a jumper or track I need to cut that will isolate the USB 5V from the board 5V? Or am I doing something wrong?

There is a series of diodes next to the 3.3v Vreg. One of those is for the USB 5V, the other for the 5V input. You want to remove the USB one.
