Does anyone else find that composite materials such as wood fill PLA have over extrusion issues?

My thinking is the expansion of any moisture present in the wood fiber as it is heated

Are you recalibrating extrusion volume for the different materials? Every different filament type should be calibrated. Even different vendors of the same base resin may have different calibration (e.g. Makergeeks Raptor PLA might extrude differently from Esun PLA).
