Does anyone have a source for the thermistor fiberglass sleeves, similar to those sold by e3d? If i’m not wrong, they’re 0.25mm OD and ~0.2mm ID, suitable for temps up to 600C. While e3d’s prices are fine, I’d like to stock up in bulk and not have to worry about running out all the time.
Are these the ones that insulate the wires? I have used Teflon or ptfe tubing. That is what usually comes with the thermistors I order.
We can do you a bulk price if you get in touch through the e3d contact page. We have to get the stuff made to order and have to buy a very large spool at a minimum. We should probably sell it by the meter for cheaper or something. It’s just that most people only want a tiny bit, most of the cost is the labour of cutting and packing it to length and not the product itself, so bulk discounts make sense.

I get my sleeving from the Frys by my house. They sell it in meter lengths for really cheap.
