Does anyone have a suggestion for a board to run with an e3d v6 and a bondtech extruder? I will also be running a silicone mat style heated bed.

I am actually looking for the same but to run a Corexy

I ditto the AC hear bed if you’re comfortable with it. A caveat, if you’re using a sliding bed mechanism, maybe stick with DC.

I can’t think of any currently popular controller that isn’t up to the job but I’d consider Smoothieboard if you can swing it.

I’m liking the look of the GT2560. Only issue as far as I can see is that it doesn’t have AUX pins. Wheras the the Sainsmart does.

If you do want a 32 bit board, but can’t stretch to a Smoothie or Azteeg, then look at the AZSMZ, Chinese board that runs Smoothieware, as most niche Chinese boards, it’s not well supported though :confused:

Looking at the docs, GT2560 uses an FTDI chip. Is there any way to know that’s a genuine chip? Given what they’ve done, I’d rather forgo it than take any such risk.
