Does anyone have an AliExpress source for custom lenth WS2812B module strands? The kind with individual pixel modules connected by a length of wiring between each. Everything I’m finding on AliExpress is too short (5-10cm between the pixels) for my application (need 30cm between) and since I don’t want to solder up 150 modules myself, I need to find a supplier to custom make them.
I had one supplier but their instructions were unclear on how to actually place the order then they stopped returning messages.

Since you are going to make a long strip, i suggest you to tell mr Ray to use at least a 18awg cable. Working at 5 volts you have a high drop of voltage due to the distance and the section of the cable. (less if you use thicker cable).I also suggest you inject power every 50 pixels. (I have almost 1500 of these pixel working at 30/33 cm from each other.)
The project is going to essentially be 15 x 3.3m strands (10px each) in a ladder formation tapped from the main supply wires running down each side. I shouldn’t have a problem with off-the-shelf wiring.
However, Ray’s initial quote was a quite a bit higher than I’d like so we’re going to try to work some things out. I might even just build these myself but I’m really not looking forward to close to 1000 individual solder joints.
That being said, where can I find all-black 3 pin 22awg cabling?
