Does anyone have experience with the keenovo 600W silicone heaters?

i dont, but i’ve heard good things about them.

Yeah, they’re super consistent across the surface (measured w/ a IR camera), and can be powered using a variety of power sources (12/24 DC, 110/120 AC).

I personally prefer using AC power since the control circuitry is considerably smaller, but the tradeoff is in the initial wiring complexity, and that you’ll need custom electronics to control the heater properly.

I think I will get a 240V AC / 600W for mine. Where do you get them from? The only place I know is Ali express

Got 300x300 240ac.
Works beautifully.

That’s the only place I know of to source them as well, aside from maybe Ebay.

@Daniel_Stauffer , now I’m curious what you’re building if this machine is planning to be powered by 240V AC.

@Cruz_Monrreal_Mr_Cru I am building a printer aimed at high temps for printing peek for instance. It will also have a large build volume of 200x300x200mm. I don’t want to use a large mk3 heatbed because it will take very long to heat the plate (one mounting plate and a detachable build plate). The only way I found to overcome this is to use an SSR and a 240V silicone heater.

Sounds great so far. I will give it a shot.
